THE MARELITT BALTIC FINAL CONFERENCE IN STOCKHOLM

On the 20–21st of March 2019, the MARELITT Baltic project invites you the Final Conference in Stockholm. For the first time, we will present The Baltic Sea Blueprint – a handbook on how to approach lost and discarded fishing gear in terms of mapping, retrieval, recycling and prevention. Welcome to join us!

This is an unique opportunity for you as a stakeholder to take part of new knowledge and discuss all issues regarding mitigation measures of ghost fishing in the Baltic Sea with the MARELITT Baltic team and all partners.

The participants must cover their own cost for travel and accommodation.

How to get there

Venue: Münchenbryggeriet, Magasinet. Söder Mälarstrand 25

From the Subway: Take the subway ( red line) to Mariatorget.
Choose the exit Torkel Knutssongatan and the police station. Take right when exiting the station and walk down on Torkel Knutssonsgatan about 400 meters to Münchenbryggeriet. located at Torkel Knutssonsgatan 2. Continue down the stairs to the quayside. Then turn left on Söder Mälarstrand, walk about 50 meters to Söder Mälarstrand 25.

Signs will show the way from Torkel Knutssonsgatan 2 to Söder Mälarstrand 25.

Date: 20–21st March, 2019.
Time: Registration from 10.00, conference start at 11.00 (Swedish time). Second day ends with lunch at 12.30–13.30.
Location: Münchenbryggeriet, Stockholm, Sweden.
Costs: The conference is free of charge. All participants must pay their own travels and accomodation.
